About the Ecosystem

Ardor

Ardor is a blockchain-as-a-service platform by Jelurida with a unique parent-child chain architecture. The parent chain (ARDR) secures the network via Proof-of-Stake, while child chains like IGNIS handle full application functionality without bloating the main ledger.

Launched in 2018, Ardor inherits its codebase from NXT — one of the first pure PoS blockchains.

NXT

NXT launched in 2013 as one of the first feature-rich blockchain platforms — with a decentralized exchange, asset issuance, voting and data storage — years before most of today's chains existed.

NXT operates both as a standalone blockchain and as a child chain on Ardor, gaining access to Ardor's security and cross-chain features.
